I used to live down the street by it and have been eating there for over 14 years now even though I've been living far from there for years . John makes you feel like my family and I legit grew up eating there . The burgers are simple but are the best I've ate , with the bacon being such a good taste . You can also enjoy some ice cream treats with your food . It's been a staple in the community for decades and I hope it continues for many more decades .

Dixie Maid is a great "mom and pop" type restaurant that serves burgers, seafood, ice cream, and shakes. I have had many burgers there and have recently tried their "Fish and Chips" plate. The fish was fried to perfection; no excess grease or batter, just crispy fish awesomeness. The fries, both regular and seasoned, are wonderfully crispy as well. The burgers are great if you are looking for an alternative to a typical fast food burger. The menu features a variety of foods to please any customer. I would recommend stopping by if you are in the area.
